The Trans Euro Trail (TET) is a hugely popular adventurous motorcycle backpacking route through Europe. It winds its way through remote countryside and visits villages, hamlets and towns which are all too often marginal and marginalised.

The Riders who use the TET rely on the shops, campsites, garages and hotels for food, spares, fuel and a place to lay their heads at the end of a long day on the Trail.

Their euros, pounds, dinars and kroner can be a welcome additional income to small businesses which often struggle to survive as populations fall. The survival of these businesses keeps a community alive!

We know from surveys that riders treasure these local contacts and are drawn to locations extending a warm welcome.
